Phosphorus supplement for support of bones and teeth. Next to calcium, phosphorus is the most abundant mineral in the body. Approximately 85% of phosphorus in the body can be found in bones and teeth and roughly 10% circulates in the bloodstream. The upper limit for phosphorus intake in adults is set at 4000 mg/day.

Phosphorus can interact with certain medications, and some medications can have an adverse effect on phosphate levels:

Antacids. Chronic use of antacids (longer than 3 months) can lead to low levels of phosphate.

Laxatives. Some laxatives that contain sodium phosphates can increase serum phosphate levels.

If you take any of these medications, you should speak to your health care provider about appropriate dosage of this supplement.

Adverse effects from high riboflavin intakes from foods or supplements (400 mg/day for at least 3 months) have not been reported. There are no upper limits established for riboflavin. Riboflavin is not known to have any clinically relevant interactions with medications.

Inositol might lower blood sugar levels. Taking inositol along with diabetes medications might cause blood sugar to drop too low. Monitor your blood sugar closely.
